Delivery on Mobile Device

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for processing Delivery through the mobile application.

Overview

The Barcode application allows warehouse staff to efficiently process outgoing deliveries by scanning barcodes and validating Delivery notes.

Delivery Processing Workflow

Follow these steps to properly deliver and register outgoing goods:

Step 1: Access the Delivery Module

Step 2: Scan Delivery Note

Scan the Delivery Note barcode using your mobile device to retrieve the expected delivery details.

Step 3: Process Each Product

For each product in the Delivery:

  • Scan Pallet/Bin that products will be taken from
  • Scan the corresponding Lot/Serial number or scan the product barcode for non Lot/Serial number products

Step 4: Complete All Items

Repeat Step 3 for all products included in the current Delivery.

Step 5: Validate Delivery

Once all items have been processed, tap the Validate button to complete the Delivery process.

Step 6: Handle Incomplete Deliveries

If not all expected items were delivered, the system will prompt for confirmation and display a summary of delivered items.

You can either: - Click Validate to confirm the partial delivery - Click Stay on transfer to return and process additional items

Step 7: Completion

After validation, the system will: - Return to the main scanning menu - Automatically create a backorder for any non-delivered items

Important Notes

  • The system automatically tracks discrepancies between expected and actual delivered quantities
  • Backorders are generated without requiring manual intervention
  • Each product must be taken from a specific storage location for proper inventory management
